New Changes At Wheatsfield.coop PDF Print E-mail

Many changes and additions have been made to Wheatsfield's website. Most noticeable is probably the menu system. The top menu bar is now expandable to conserve space and likewise consolidate the new menu options. Also, any menu options linked to PDF files are now indicated by a "[pdf]" following the respective menu title. Javascript is required to view the menu.

We have also implemented a new "Online Order Form" for those of you who like to place orders through our website. The order form now allows multiple item orders to be placed all at once (rather than individually). Just select the number of ordered items from the "Order Quantity" drop-down menu and the appropriate number of fields will appear to handle your request. This is currently limited to 5 ordered items only. Javascript is also required for the use of this feature.

We have also given you easier and more prominent access to our HealthNotes system. You will now find the link displayed on our menu panel along the right side of the page. This link will now be easier to find.

We have also employed a new CAPTCHA system on our "Contact Us" page. A CAPTCHA is a "challenge-response" code verification system that is supposed to be able to discern between computer responses and human responses. This has been implemented due to the increase in junk mail we have been receiving. It is only required when sending email to Wheatsfield Staff.

You now have access to a few new menu options. The first one falls under our "Resources" menu entitled "Donation Policy". It just explains the details of our donation guidelines. The other two options are listed under the "Employment" menu called "Employment Application" and "Job Openings" respectively. These two are pretty self-explanatory.

Coming Soon...

We are currently brainstorming new ideas for a "Local Producers" page that will showcase our local growers and producers. This will be a convenient way for you to get to know our community of local farms and producers alike. Please check back periodically for updates.
